MyPolitics is owned and operated by Flygon LC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information. This page supplements our Privacy Policy and applies only to California residents.

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect, use, and disclose the following categories of information (as defined under the CCPA):

We use the above categories to: provide and manage the Services; contact you; improve and personalize the Services; understand how users interact with the Services; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; protect our rights and the safety of users; comply with legal obligations; and with your consent. How We Disclose These Categories
We may disclose the categories above to: our affiliates; service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer service); other parties when required by law or to protect users and the Services; and with your consent or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that qualifies as a “sale” or “share” under the CCPA.
Your California Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know: Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting or selling/sharing, and the categories of third parties we disclose to.
- Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., to complete a transaction, comply with law, or for security).
- Opt out of sale/sharing: We do not currently sell or “share” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information as defined under the CCPA. If that changes, we will update this page and provide a way to opt out.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information: The CCPA allows you to limit certain uses of “sensitive personal information.” We use sensitive personal information only for purposes permitted under the law for which there is no right to limit (e.g., to provide the Services, ensure security, or with your consent).
- Non-discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To make a request, email us at [email protected] with your email address and the type of request (e.g., know, correct, delete). We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. If an authorized agent makes a request on your behalf, we may require proof of written authorization. We will respond within the timeframes required by California law. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal; we will provide instructions in our response.
Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention depends on the type of information, the purposes for processing, and our legal and operational needs.
Shine the Light
California residents may once per year request information about our disclosure, if any, of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
